John Flynn

A resident of Roslyn Village for 35 years, John Flynn was a residential builder and developer who specialized in historic restoration and custom building.

In Roslyn, he moved and restored the Teamster's House and the Jacob Sutton Mott House to East Broadway, restored Roslyn House for Roslyn Preservation, developed and built Valentine Lane and houses on Hillcrest and Fairview Avenues. He was involved in many other restorations and building projects including Fearn's Harness Shop, Going Places Pizza, the Gerry Residence library addition, 1353 and 1355 Old Northern Boulevard, 88 Main Street, and others.

John is currently chairperson of the Roslyn Grist Mill Committee.
